Paul Burton, TNG’s Exploration Director accompanied the NT Resources delegation to China on November 9th., attending the Australian Investment Seminar, the China Mining Congress and had discussions with Chinese companies that are interested in investing in Australian resource companies.

This was a very successful introduction for TNG to China representing a new strategy for the company.

As a result of the meetings several Chinese companies have expressed interest in TNG’s  projects .

TNG congratulated the NT Department of Primary Industry, Fisheries & Resources and Hon Minister Kon Vatskalis on a very well arranged and organized trip.

TNG Limited is pleased to advise that it has reached agreement with ASX-listed exploration company, Western Desert Resources, to joint venture a portfolio of non-core mineral exploration projects in the Northern Territory.

Under the agreement, WDR subsidiaries can earn up to an 80% interest in the Rover, Goddard and Musgrave Prospects by funding exploration expenditure totaling A$4 million across the project group

TNG is pleased to announce that a dispute between its wholly owned subsidiary, Tennant Creek Gold (NT) Pty Ltd, and Mincor Zinc Pty Ltd over exploration license 80/3772 has now been resolved in the company’s favour. TNG said it welcomed the decision and expected the application for the license to proceed without further difficulty and that the area under application would add significantly to its strategic ground holding at its flagship Manbarrum site.

TNG Limited is pleased to announce the decision by the Northern Territory Department of Primary Industry, Fisheries and Mines (DPFIM) to grant a key new tenement for the Manbarrum Project. The tenement area overlies a significant portion of the Browns IP anomaly, which the company believes to be one of the highest priority Mississippi Valley Type (MTV) targets within the Manbarrum Project Area.

The Diggers and Dealers edition of Paydirt reports that TNG is “back on track” following the Opes Prime collapse with good news for share holders in the form of an iron ore discovery at its flagship Manbarrum site in the Northern Territory. Although activity was scaled back following the collapse, exploration continued and confirmed “just how good a project Manbarrum can be.”

The resource for both the Djibitgun and Sandy Creek deposits were upgraded to an overall total of 35.9 million tones with plans for the exploration program for 2008 currently in the process of being finalized.
